First Degree Murder
First-degree murder is any murder which is committed with premeditation and deliberation. A murder can be treated as a first degree if it is in the commission of certain inherently dangerous felonies.
Second Degree Murder
Second-degree murder is the unlawful killing of a human being, when perpetrated by any act imminently dangerous to another an evincing a depraved mind regardless of human life, without premeditation. Killing a person during the commission or attempt to commit certain crimes can also constitute second-degree murder.
