Post Conviction Relief Motions
There are several types of postconviction relief motions available to individuals convicted of crimes. These motions can attack anything from the legality of the sentence to the competency of counsel. Additionally, if certain procedures were not followed at the time of trial or sentencing the accused may be entitled to withdraw his/her plea or have a new trial.
